Visitor Report(s)29 June 2004 Visited 25th - 26th June 2004 (tent). Quiet but pleasant place convenient for Cambridge, Newmarket, Duxford etc. Level, well drained field but background buzzing noise from overhead power lines and adjacent sub-station was intrusive. Good children's playground. Washroom clean. Hot water 20p a go

30 August 2010 We booked bank holiday weekend there and.... we got nothing.
We departed at 6:50, there was some traffic, at 7:20 we called owner to inform him that we may be a bit late due to traffic. His answer was that there is a 75 years old lady managing this site and we have an hour to be there.
We had 3 days booked
In middle of the way we called owner to inform him that we may be a bit late and he told us that place, it was 7:55, we heard that place is already given away. He gave our place away before actual time we were supposed to be there!
He didn\'t call us to inform, nothing.
He completely didn\'t care about our time, money or if we have anywhere to sleep.
Fortunately we live close so we came back.
Next day we booked other place in Woburn.
Our neighbor had the same story with the same site!
It looks like giving pitches away and leaving people without place to stay is a common practice on that site.
My final advice is: DO NOT GO THERE!
Avoid this place at any cost.
