A tap & a loo, and Cornwall's best view
...well not quite...there are hot showers (free to use) and more than just the one loo! Anyway between mid-May and the end of September why not come and camp at South Penquite Farm on one of the few sites situated on the beautiful, open, pagan heartland of Cornwall that is Bodmin Moor. There are no marked pitches and we limit the number of people on site so that there is plenty of room for everybody to stretch out. We also sell home produced lamb burgers and sausages, as well as bags of wood so that you may experience the ultimate in cool camping - a campfire!
Our Mongolian Yurts
We have four Yurts, fully equipped for that 'back to nature' experience, with all the home comforts you need. We have a wood burner & gas stove to cook on and provide heating. Futons provide sleeping and seating areas and a cot is available if needed. Rugs, throws and cushions add colourful comfort. all cooking and eating utensils are included - just bring you own linen or sleeping bags
Good for touring and walking
Only a couple of miles from the main A30. South Penquite is within easy reach of both coast and the world famous Eden Project. Our own farmwalk takes in many wildlife habitats, a bronze age hut settlement and an imposing standing stone
