Visitor Report(s)7 June 2006 I\'ve been to this site at least 4 times and it\'s a little gem. The indoor pool is free and great for the kids but go at the right times and it\'s all yours. The camp shop is restricted in its opening times but it sells all the essentials you\'re likely to need - the fresh bread\'s out of this world and sells really quickly. Don\'t forget to order your paper if you want to keep in touch with the outside world as this site\'s fairly remote.
The onsite toilet/shower block\'s cleaned regularily but with it being in the middle of the field expect grass cuttings being dragged in by childrens feet. The showers are free and the washing up area while small is adequate.
If you like fishing there\'s 3 to choose from, hence its name, beautiful scenery, plenty of easy walking with the local village of Glenluce about 3 miles away with several places to eat and drink. Nearby Tor Wood house is an old \"gentleman\'s\" residence stunning but wait till you go inside, you\'ll have to find that out yourself!
