29 August 2005 We have stayed at Sandy Balls for the last three years during school holidays.
We have always hired a static caravan. On initial enquiry you will see the cost of this type of holiday is near the top end of what you would expect to pay, however, be assured what you will recieve is a holiday that money just can't buy! Set in acres of beautiful conservation forest, with lakes, walks and an abundance of nature literally on your door step. Coupled with health club, swimming pools indoors and out. Lots of children's play areas, bike hire, riding stables and children's organised activities. A well stocked shop providing hot fresh bread each morning along with everything you would expect to find in a supermarket. Each pitch has its own BBQ or you can eat at the onsite Inn, or Italian Restaurant, or walk/drive a few miles to various local holsteries. It is family friendly, allows dogs in certain parts, but adheres to a strict respect policy
