Felt that spacing allocated between motorhomes was insufficient. Don't allow disposable BBQs. Otherwise very nice, clean, good play area, but certainly not cheap.

We had travelled a long way and on arriving we were told we were too late and they would not let us in even though I had booked and said I would be late. We had 2 children with us and told them this but they just said come back in the morning - what use is that when you have nowhere to go? We left and went down the road and were made welcome.

Stayed for 2 nights in August 2009, and was great, just been back in October 2009, and was still great once more. The Star is really peacefull, and the toilets and everything are spotless. The first time we went there we didn't take the baby, because we weren't sure about what facilities would be there. We found that they had a parent & baby room that was private, and in its own separate room. Next time we went we took the baby.
If you want a nice decent place to stay, without the late night parties that you usually get on camp grounds, and would recommend you try this on. Happy Camping !!!!!!

Fantastic weekend, clean, tidy and pretty site. I have 2yrs old twin boy and the park kept them safe and entertained also children about 10yrs. Pub serving food just 5mins out of the gate were friendly and served fantastic food at reasonable price.
The site were very strict on 11pm all silent rule and no visitors - only paying guest on the site. Would go again still
